The Hayward City Council will be having a meeting on Tuesday, October 14, at 5:00 PM to discuss the future of our facility. As a member of the ad hoc committee on medical marijuana in Hayward, I was under the impression that the three clubs currently operating in Hayward would be allowed to continue for a period of time as long as Helping Hands was relocated out of the B Street Redevelopment District. Please support our efforts to continue serving the community in Hayward and the patients of what were formerly Helping Hands and the Hayward Hempery. We believe the services offered to our collective are more in keeping with the spirit of the Compassionate Use Act and should be allowed to continue. Please support us by coming to the Work Session of the City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 14, at 5 PM. The meeting will take place at the Second Floor Meeting Room at Hayward City Hall, located at 777 B St at Watkins (across from BART).
