Tuolumne County Board Of Supervisors Set For A Busy Tuesday
Bill Johnson My Mother Lode
Sonora, CA Mar 13, 2007 -- The state's medical marijuana identification care program will be on today's Tuolumne County's Board of Supervisors' agenda at 10:30am at the County Administration Center.
Aaron Smith of Safe Access Now in Santa Rosa says while it is mandatory that each of the state's 58 counties implement the program (only half have done so), it is voluntary for qualified patients and their respective caregivers.
Many choose to become cardholders because it significantly reduces their risk of unnecessary arrest, detainment or even the seizure of their medicine by state and local law enforcement agencies.
A year ago the Board stalemated in a two-two vote.
